Rugged and compact RICO Mk1 Thermal Weapon Sights are built to do two things: Make the best image possible and be easy to use.

At the heart of RICO Mk1 sights are a high performance iRayUSA Micro II core and an extremely high contrast AMOLED HD display. Up to 640x480 resolution and a 50 Hz frame rate help ensure a clear image even during motion shots. Detection range is well over a mile.

An optional laser rangefinder that integrates seamlessly with the Mk1 makes it simple to know the exact distance to your target. The ILR-1000 Laser Rangefinder Module delivers +/- 1 yard accuracy out to 1000 yards* and overlays the distance on the Mk1 display. It doesn’t hide your reticle, and you can easily cycle between SGL (single ranging) and CONT (continuous ranging). The ultralight aluminum chassis is secured by an intuitive QD mount and ensures dead-nuts repeatability and ease of use, even while wearing gloves. The ILR-1000 is covered by a 5-year warranty and 1-week repair guarantee.

RICO Mk1 sights take image processing one step further with Advanced Image Correction and Automatic Image Optimization courtesy of the powerful MATRIX III image algorithm. The system is optically and electronically optimized, and produces an image that pushes the boundaries of long-wave infrared image clarity. Matrix III is the secret behind taking an image that other manufacturers consider acceptable and making it an image only an iRay thermal core can produce.

Unmatched image quality is paired with an intuitive and easy to use interface. Optical and digital zoom bring the image closer, and the image is enhanced with five color modes. Seven reticle types in four different colors, plus picture-in-picture and a stadiametric rangefinder, help you zero in on your target.

Images and video are stored in 32 Gb of internal memory and can be transferred to other devices over USB-C or wirelessly via an app.

​A high quality and very efficient Li-ion 3.7 V, 4400 mAh battery pack operates Mk1 sights for a minimum of 6 hours, and lasts up to 10 hours on standby. The battery can be quickly removed and replaced with a new battery or, if you don’t want to power off, your Mk1 sight can be externally powered via the USB-C connector.

A tough aluminum alloy/ABS housing and IP67 rated ingress protection make RICO Mk1 sights reliable performers. They boast 1000 G shock resistance and maximum recoil of 308 win./7mm mag.

Also available is an IBP-1 lithium ion rechargeable battery pack, which uses a cam locking mechanism to ensure quick and secure swapping of batteries in the field.

During the 5-year warranty period, iRayUSA will repair or replace, at its discretion, any optic that becomes defective from normal use. If they cannot repair an optic in less than one week, they will offer a replacement in like or better condition.
