The USNV PVS-14A uses an auto-gated Generation 3 image tube in a compact, high performance, mil-spec housing designed for multiple applications. The standard FOM meets Current OMNI VIII Mil Spec. High FOM systems are Hand Select for Ultra High Performance. Either system meets exacting standards for maximum performance at night. The USNV PVS-14A can be hand-held, head-mounted, helmet-mounted, or weapon mounted.

This versatile Gen 3 USNV PVS-14A features new white phosphor image tube technology, as well as a manual gain control, which allows the user to increase or decrease image tube brightness for greater image contrast in varying light conditions.
