Featuring a full coverage eyepiece, inter-ocular adjustment, ergonomic comfort, and the unrivaled performance that only FLIR’s high resolution thermal cores can deliver, the BHS-Series Bi-Ocular thermal imaging camera is a must-have for extended patrols, covert surveillance, critical infrastructure protection, and high-threat security missions.

Employing a 320×240 or 640×480 FLIR thermal imaging core with advanced image-processing algorithms, the BHS-Series Bi-Ocular thermal imaging camera enables officers to see in total darkness, as well as through smoke, dust, light fog, light camouflage, and foliage in any lighting condition. It is especially well suited to any mission requiring longer standoff distances, such as extended area patrols, covert surveillance, critical infrastructure protection, and protective service or high-threat security situations. Officers can comfortably scan large areas of interest and covertly monitor suspicious activity. Would-be perpetrators simply can’t hide their heat from the BHS-Series Bi-Ocular.

Featuring customizable core performance and powerful E-zoom functionality, the BHS-Series Bi-Ocular provides crisp, clear video that can be further customized for mission-specific tasks with a choice of up to three lightweight, easily focused, quick-disconnect lenses for extended range viewing.

Capturing critical video is accomplished with one-touch recording, freeing hands for zoom and focus adjustments during any recorded event. A new quick release hot-shoe makes access to AC power and video out a “snap,” while a latched door provides fast and easy battery access out in the field.

BHS-Series Bi-Ocular Features

  • Quick-Disconnect Conversion: Customize thermal capability for mission-specific tasks with three lens options—QD35, QD65, or QD100 extended range. High-performance lenses are rapidly attached via integral quick disconnect mount.
  • Extended Range Options: The BHS-X model provides excellent long range viewing with sharp 320×240 native resolution in the viewfinder and a 2X digital e-zoom step to 160×120. Powered by FLIR’s 640×480 core, the BHS-XR delivers
    greater range performance with crisp, clear 320×240 native resolution both in the viewfinder and while in the 2x digital e-zoom mode, plus an additional 4X digital e-zoom step to 160×120. Full 640×480 resolution imagery from the BHS-XR is accessible via aux video jack.
  • Enhanced Lens Surfaces: Raised and grooved rubber sleeves and captive low-profile lens caps protect your lens investment as well as providing excellent grip/sensitivity for fast focusing.
  • Faster Recharging: A quick release hot-shoe literally makes access to AC power a “snap,” and a latched battery door provides fast and easy access to exchange or recondition batteries, if necessary.
  • One-Touch Recording: Capturing video evidence is now even easier with one-touch recording which allows users to release the record button once recording has started, freeing up hands to focus and zoom during an event, ensuring the best collection of evidence.
